Quality Controller

3rd Party Inspection

New structure: Review plans, work schedule, material specs, check for workmanship, construction defects & safety hazards within the structure. Watch over quality control and protect all parties from fraudulent practices. Also, check for proper application and communicate any potential problems.

QCA Inspections were a prominent feature when interviewed by Steve Kangher for the Las Vegas Sun newspaper (August 29, 1999 Sunday) Newspaper. It was found that The Building Officials and Building Contractors are still over-looking construction Defects.

Local government officials such as director Robert Weber of the County Department of Building insist the inspections are as thorough as possible. Weber said many construction defects are caused by builders who make changes to a structure after an inspection and without the inspector's knowledge.

"We're doing oversight, but we cannot warranty that every detail of every project meets the code", Weber said. "You're dealing in a fraction of a percent of the time that we spend on a job site versus those who work on the job. There is a heavy reliance on the foremen who need to pre-inspect to make sure things meet code.

QCA can help reduce construction defects.
